13 oct 2009: The ski season 2009/2010 has started! See pictures (below) taken by Leif Johnny Olestad and Lars Rikard Morstøl today, 13th oct 2009. Blue sky, white snow and many ski tracks down from Kirketaket. Can it be more beautiful?
17 oct 2009: Kirketaket, saturday 17th of october. Snowlineat 400-450 mas. Parked the car at the parking lane at Kavliheia, skiing from there but not much snow the first hundred meters towards the mountain pastures at kavliheia. Lots of snow in the mountain, but many rocks sticking up from the snow, partly covered by the snow.! Take care and use helmet! Probably more than 30 on the top that day. Also from far away; from Trondheim, Lom, Kristiansund and Molde in addition to the locals :-) Heavy "spring snow" in the forest above Kavliheia... Some small streams to cross. But a fantastic day at ski! See video below... |
